"A Family Tradition for 127 Years" This Sunday is White Gift Sunday, Food Bank Week and our Christmas Pageant which is produced by the Sunday School, with a place for every- one, will take place. Remember that the family we are giving a Christmas to are parents who wear medium and a 12-year-old girl size ladies small and a nine- year-old boy who wears size 12. Cash donations will enable the committee to buy the necessary items to make a happy Christ- mas for this family. On Tuesday, Dec. 14 the U.C.W. invites all ladies of the community to their annual Christmas pot luck luncheon which will be held in Epsom Church starting at 12:30 p.m. Past members are especially welcome. The Epsom-Utica Communi- ty Youth Group will meet Satur- day, Dec. 18 for a Christmas outing. Be at the home*of San- dra Kerry at 1:30 p.m. to go to the Parkwood [Estate in Oshawa for a step into Christ- mas past. Bring enough money to cover the $3 admission and Christmas dinner at McDo- nalds. Any parents who would offer to drive would be appre- ciated. There were 13 tables of eu- chre played on Friday evening in the hall with the following winners: Ladies first - Kay Brown, second - Violet Linton, third - Norrine HIIl. Men's first - Ruth Skinner, second - Ross Thompson, third - Irwin Kydd. Dorothy Bray had the most lone hands (five). Freeze-out win- ners were Doris and Harry Hill, Mary Hill and Diane Exley were second. Draws were won by Jean Drake, George Harper and Bill Butters. Grace Bassant won the 50/50. Plan to attend our Christmas euchre in two weeks, Dec. 17. There will be ex- tra prizes and special goodies to eat. The Utica Community Day- care held their annual Christ- mas dinner and dance in the hall on Saturday night and re- ports given to me are that it was very successful and a good time was had by those who were able to attend.
