He ate so many that he got stuck in the chair. Mrs. Claus' walked into: the kitchen and noticed that her jol- ly, old husband was stuck. But Suckily. there was a big hole in the back of the chair, so she got Rudolph to push him out with his antlers. Santa flew out of the chair and fell flat on his face. "I've fallen and I can't get up," he cried. So Mrs. Claus helped himup. "Pe When Christmas eve rolled around Santa was still as fat as ever. He just couldn't loose any weight. That night he went to get into his sled and Santa couldn't fit! "Oh my gosh," said Santa. "I'm. too fat!?!" Santa waddled over to the elves and told them: his problem. They quickly went to work on build- ing an addition for his sled. By eight o'clock the sled was done and all the elves hoisted Santa up to his sled. It was a tight fit, but he was in. Everyone helped load the presents onto the sliegh and were off, but they soon had a problem. Santa wouldn't. fit down the chimneys! So Santa decided to drop the presents down the chimneys and get the elves to put them in place. After going to a few houses, Santa lost enough weight to go down the chimneys himself. They were soon finished and Santa never ate too many cookies again. by Jennifer Pilkingiton, Jennifer Goode and Amy Wilson 4 ~~. Grade7 Born in a manger. Earthly peace. Every Inn was full.
