On Christmas Day, the Cuu family of Port Perry visited Grace and Floyd Evans. Jill and Gord Postma's guests were her sisters Pauline Hil- werba and Delmwyn Kerring- ton and their mother Mrs. Mound. On Monday, Barbara Evans and Ross held dinner for their family. Christmas Eve service and Communion was an outpouring of joy. Don Aslingled in the ser- vice of song and praise with much help from the choir. Rev. Wm. McKay conducted the com- munion service to all. What a crowd and what a joyous time. We were sorry our minister was unable to be present. We are hoping this week he will be able to take the service at 11 a.m. at Epsom. On Christmas Day, Keith and Faye Ashton opened their new home and welcomed the Asling family. On Sunday, they wel- comed 30 of the Ashton family for Christmas dinner. Beth Catherwood is staying with her mother, Rush Ashton, "Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" Many visit village over holiday for a few days. Luella Bailey en- tertained her family with din- ner "out" recently. Cliff and June Bertram were Christmas visitors with daugh- ter Joanne and John Hansen and children. Elden and Anita and baby Justin Evans were with her parents, the Jaggersmas, in Brockville for Christmas.
