After dinner, the Nestletones, a group of ladies from Nestleton United Church provided the en- tertainment singing a 50's med- ley and Christmas selections. Special Guest, Anne Bourke, 2nd Vice President, Ontario Horticultural Association, pre- sided over the election of offi- cers for 1994. Retiring President, Betty Forsythe, thanked everyone for their hard work throughout the year and highlighted some of the events. Tettje Prins was awarded the Analda Trophy for most points overall, Newton Trophy for most points cultural and the Lillian Smith Trophy, most points for design. " "The new trophy, the John Kingstone Memorial Trophy for most points for gladioli, was won by Eileen McLaughlin, pre- sented by Pat Kingstone. In the monthly competion for best Christmas weath or door swag, Shirley Love was first, Marliese Hassler second and Margaret Trull third. Door prizes were won by Shir- ley Love and Irene Blain. Incoming President Pat King- stone wished everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year. The next meeting will be held at the Nestleton Community Centre on March 1, 1994.
