The choir sang "Victory in Jesus." Rev. Sheina Smith's ser- mon was titled "hanging on to faith." I have the results of the last euchre game for you. Eleven ta- bles were played. Ladies first prize went to Mary Borland, second Norrine Hill. Men's first to George Harper, second prize Mary Housego. Lone hands Jean Hodgins and Violet Cole. 50/50 draw won by Jack Lee. Door prize winners Bill Hod- gins and Gordon MacDonald. Next euchre is Thursday eve- ning of this week. Everyone wel- come. The Ladies Bible Class met at the home of Joan Knight last Wedensday. President Aldine Wick chaired the meeting. Lex- ie Pettus read the scripture from Proverbs 3 vs. 1-10, fol- lowed by prayer. Aldine was in charge of the program. A social half hour followed with lovely refreshments by the hostess. Lloyd and Margaret Pugh of Ajax visited with Doug and Florence Ashton recently, also Jean McEntyre and Eleanor Johnson. Theo and Joan Knight visited with Jim and Elaine Ewing of Orangeville last Saturday. Next week, Sheila Parrott will be writing this column.
