We must teach our children violence is not the answer, and we must also be aware that, yes it is a problem. Until it is recog- nized as that, how can it be rec- tified. The school seems to have lost control and each so called "iso- lated incident" occurs, when the wound heals is forgotten. But what will it take? My children are in Grades 1 and 2. They have a long way to go yet, but how safe are they when they leave the door each morning?
