During the service Laura Malcolm was welcomed to the Greenbank Congregation by transfer from Seagrave. This service was also named "Plaster and Paint Sunday". Rodd Fos- ter, chairman of the Centennial Committee, introduced Nick Flamminio of Solina and Gil Strong of Fenelon Falls who were responsible for the deco- rating of the auditorium of the church. A round of applause was given them for a job well done. Those who attended the Mass Choir event at Cambridge St. United Church on Sunday eve- ning were thrilled with the mu- sic provided by the 230 voiced choir. This choir was formed by joining voices from most Church choirs in the Lindsay Presbytery and Pinedale, Sea- grave and Greenbank joined forces to perform a musical se- lection. The highlight of the eve- ning was the singing of the "Hallelujah Chorus" by the Mass Choir. Congratulations to all who took part, it was an un- forgettable evening of music. We will be forming a ladies choir for the May 15 U.C.W. church service, all U.C.W. la- dies are invited to participate and also any ladies who enjoy singing are welcome. Practice will be April 21, 8:15 p.m. at the Church. Mrs. Ruby Beare entertained a few ladies at her home in Port Perry on the occasion of the 89th birthday of Margaret Real.
