We have kept our series prices at last season's level and will offer reserved seating with comfortable new chairs. The season will open on Sat- urday, Oct. 15, with a concert by the Voices Relyea. This talented family have created a Victorian evening of beautiful 19th centu- ry music presented in a fully staged and costumed format. Their commanding stage pres- ence, lovely voices, and unique approach guarantee a memora- ble evening. On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Town Hall will feature classical pianist, Catherine Wilson, and her Trio in "Christmas Tid- ings." Catherine has received critical acclaim for her concerts and recordings. Her repertoire includes classical, ragtime, con- temporary, and her own compo- sitions. She has appeared on na- tional radio and television, and has performed for numerous dignitaries and heads of state, including her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Helen Porter's "I Love You So Much It Hurts" will be present- ed on Friday, Feb. 3. This play enjoyed a successful run at the Factory Theatre and the St. Lawrence Centre in Toronto. It is based on interviews and sto- ries collected on a trip to Kirk- land Lake. The Globe and Mail called this an evening "full of funky atmosphere, and promis- ing quirky characters, enter- taining stories, and great tunes." On Saturday, April 8, Dave Broadfoot's Comedy Crusade arrives at Town Hall 1873. This show features Canada's most enduring and popular comic in a two-hour one-man show that explores just about everything that is happening in the world today. Dave is a veteran of C.B.C. radio's "Royal Canadian Air Farce," winner of a Juno Award for comedy recording, and 13 Actra Awards for writ- ing and performing comedy in radio and television. Tickets for the 1994-95 sea- son will be available at the show "That's Entertainment '94" on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, or call 852-5710.
