A 15-year-old girl was charged with passing counter- feit American bills at two busi- nesses in Oshawa and when searched she was found to be in possession of 11 more counter- Police asking public to be alert feit bills. A second female young offender was identified and a warrant has been issued for her arrest for passing counterfeit American $20 bills. Again as the result of infor- mation received by the Major Fraud Unit of the Durham Re- gional Police a Search Warrant was executed at a Simcoe Street South address and 33 American $20 counterfeit notes were lo- cated. Another youthful offend- er was arrested at the scene and as the result of an investigation a warrant has been issued for a 40-year-old man. In another case, an alert clerk at the Brewer's Retail in Ajax spotted a counterfeit American $50 note and when this was pointed out to the customer, he J.
