For more than three years, the Oak Ridges Moraine Technical Working Committee has been drafting a report looking at ways to protect and manage the sensitive greenbelt which stretches across the province from Caledon to Clarington. Scugog is included in the area. As a result of the study, a series of recommendations have been drafted by the committee. These will be presented to Ontario's Environment Minister later this year. According to Fred Johnson, a Ministry of Natural Resources official and member of the committee, "The Oak Ridges Moraine Area Strategy for the Greater Toronto Area" has been completed and is open for public consultation for 60 days. The committee will then review the comments before making a formal presentation to the minister later this year. | HH 4 cand X 30 Water St., Port Perry 985-4316 Jor Service, Quality & Price! |] e& x All items while quantities last NEW!!!
