These are informal and include discus- .~ sion, music and prayer. Every- one is welcome. _ Utica Hall is proudly display- ing a much needed new sign over the front door. The artist is former Utica boy, Pat Donnelly, of Port Perry. Thanks, Pat, it looks great. Credit also goes to Merv Storie and Bruce Hough- land for the framing and instal- lation. We now, also, have our street emergency number in place. Another improvement this week was the work of Ron Compton as he filled in, smoothed and planted grass seed along the lawns that were torn up recently by machines. Another job well done and it just goes to show that the resi- dents here are proud of their vil- lage as we all do our best to keep it neat and attractive. Strawberry time is once again upon us and Willowtree Market has been alive with ac- tivity and the berries are plenti- ful. It takes very little time to fill containers with those very big, luscious berries. Jean Scott of London was a weekend guest with her mother Mrs. Crosier. Mrs. Crosier also enjoyed seeing a former student of hers, Doug Geer who stopped in for a visit while in the neigh- borhood on business. Please be reminded that if you wish to contribute to a gift for Jackie Skelding's upcoming wedding, try and get it turned in by this weekend. | Jean Jeffery set to relax after writing Epsom news for By Scott Anderson Port Perry Star A little piece of the Port Perry Star is gone.
