(See separate ad for details). The season will get underway with power skating beginning on Tues- day, Sept. 6 under the direc- tion of Michael Sanderson. In order to keep our in- crease to a minimum this year the board members re- duced everything in our pro- gram that we considered not a priority. For example pic- tures will not be included in our registration fee this year. When all our budget con- siderations had been dealt with we end up with an in- crease which averages out to approximately $15 per player. To help offset our in- crease in fees we will allow you to pay a minimum of 50 per cent down and the bal- ance post dated to Sept. 30, 1994. If you pay in this man- ner you will still be entitled to the discounted rate. The fundraising portion of registration fees is $25 per family. At registration you will receive a ticket for a draw on some great prizes. The prize board will be dis- played at registration and with only 350 families in the draw everyone will have a good chance to win a prize. Minimal increase in hockey registration All parents are reminded to bring all necessary docu- mentation to registration in- cluding birth certificates and health cards. There will not be an equipment exchange this year but you are wel- come to bring a list of your used equipment to post on the minor hockey board. A small note with sizes and phone numbers can be post- ed and will remain on our board until after power skat- ing is completed. arents and players should be aware that all players, including those try- ing out for junior teams must be registered before they can go on the ice, and that full equipment is mandatory at power skating sessions.
