Our deepest sympathy goes out to his beloved wife Lila, his three lovely daughters, Fern of Kingston, Helen of Meaford, and Catharine of Prince Albert, as well as many other relatives who mourn the passing of Charles Clarke. We cherish his memory! Very pleased to see Effa Stainton out to church once again after surgery. Nestleton United Church On a bright, cool Sunday morning, Oct. 2, greeters at the door were Norm and Bernice Mairs. A very good attendance. Rev. David Shearman con- ducted the service and opened with the call to worship, an in- teresting story for the young folk and an excellent message for the congregation. This was Worldwide Com- munion Sunday and those as- sisting the minister were Rich- ard MacKenzie and Robert Nestleton and area news Mairs with Carol Mairs as the able pianist. That very lovely hymn "Walls that Divide" was sung, with zest, by the congre- gation. Norm and Bernice Mairs gathered the offering. After the closing hymn "Ye Servants of God" by Charles Wesley 1707- 1788, our minister gave the Benediction, all sang "Go Now In Peace" and Three Fold Amen. "Sunday School Our Superintendent Kay Notman would like more to as- sist in Sunday School. Try and help Kay if you can at all. She is doing a super job!
