Mrs. Muriel Coates from Oko- toks near Calgary, Alberta, was a Monday visitor of Harold and Lois Luke. Wilma VanCamp accompa- nied Cindy and John Werry to Black Creek Pioneer Village on Sunday to attend the Apple Day Festival. She enjoyed viewing well over 100 apple pies lined up for judging with no two alike. Congratulations to John who won first on his pie and received a monetary gift, ribbon and tro- phy. Cindy won third in her class. There are 25 entries in each class.
