He studied at Knox College, University of Toronto and was ordained in the Presbyteri- an Church in 1955. He faithfully served as pastor to congregations in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Cookstown, Ontario, Springhill, Nova Scotia, Hagersville, Ontario, Vancouver, British Columbia and for twenty years before his retirement in 1981 in St. Andrews-Chalmers Presbyterian Church, Uxbridge. Upon retirement he and his wife Marie moved to Port Perry. He was a caring pastor who will be missed by all who knew him.
