Min. - Peacelully on Monday, October 3, 1994 at the Port Perry Community Memorial Hospital, in his 80th year. George, dearly beloved husand of Marie. Dearest and much loved father of Dr. Beryl Moore and her husband Michael Jenkins. Lovingly remem- bered by his three granddaughters Lauren, Claire and Madeleine. Sur- vived by his sister Jean Roy of Northern Ireland, his neice Myrtle Myer of Australia and their families. Funeral service was held on Octo- ber 6, 1994 at St. Andrews- Chalmers Presbyterian Church, Uxbridge. Interment at Breadal- bane Presbyterian Church Ceme- tery, Utica. Arrangements entrusted to Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry (985-7331). Rev. Dr. George Moore was bom in Belfast, Northem Ireland. Following experience in business and dedicated service in the Belfast City Mission he came to Canada in 1948. He studied at Knox College, University of Toronto and was ordained in the Presbyteri- an Church in 1955. He faithfully served as pastor to congregations in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Cookstown, Ontario, Springhill, Nova Scotia, Hagersville, Ontario, Vancouver, British Columbia and for twenty years before his retirement in 1981 in St. Andrews-Chalmers Presbyterian Church, Uxbridge. Upon retirement he and his wife Marie moved to Port Perry. He was a caring pastor who will be missed by all who knew him. Donations in his memory may be made to The Canadian Hemophilia Society, The Port Perry Community Memorial Hospital or Sleeping Children Around The World. Dorothy May Reis is survived by her daugh- ter Dianne Kraupa of Wallace, Nova Scotia and her son Gary Carson Reis of Port Perry, Ontario. She will be deeply missed by her 13 grand- children and their signifigant others, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law Priscilla Reis of Port Perry, who considered her a best friend and mother, and all her many friends and neighbours in Port Perry and Nova Scotia. The service of Thanksgiving and Rememberance for Dorothy May Reis was held on Saturday, October 8, 1994 at 2 p.m. at Malagash United Church, by Min- ister Rev. Beth Johnston, organist Mrs. Neva Mattatall. Pallbearers were Norbert Belliveau, grandson- in-law, John Johnson, grandson-in- law, Dale Hunter, grandson-in-law, Jim Reeves, grandson-in-law, Dan- nie Cress, friend of the family, and David Rafuse, friend of the family. Committal and burial followed ser- vice at Mackenzie Cemetery. She was laid to rest near the resting place of her son-in-law Hans Krau- pa, who passed on before her.
