The Community Nursing Home and Port Perry Villa will presenting their Santa's Magic Palace Bazaar on Satur- day, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Don't forget to visit both buildings for great gift ideas. Reta Reader, Bonnie Gerrow, Helen Redman, Betty Reader, Marion Carter and Clara Dow- son visited Reta Rodman in Bowmanville on Nov. 22 on the occasion of her 89th birthday. It was a great time of reminiscing. Reta was formally from Head Road. Best wishes, Reta, from your Island friends! I read with interest in last week's paper that the Rodman log cabin on Head Road dates back to the mid-1800s. Having only lived on the Island for 12 years, I don't know all the histo- ry of our beautiful Island. It's interesting to know about the farm I have passed so many times. If you see Vicky Wood on Nov. 30, wish her a happy 13th birth- day! Thanks for the phone calls this week. I can't put news in the paper unless I hear from you. This is your column! Please call 985-8871 with your news for next week's column.
