The sanctu- ary was beautifully decorated with poinsettias donated by sev- eral church members. The ser- mon title was "Joy to the World, the Saviour Comes". Sharmen Porter sang a solo "The Road to Bethlehem", with the choir singing "The Wonderful Savi- our of Men". Following the ser- vice, the Sunday School pupils presented a Christmas panto- mime in the lower hall. Everyone in the surrounding area is invited to join together Christmas Eve at the Church at 7:30 p.m. for the beautiful can- dlelight service. Year's Day service will be held at 10 a.m. Catherine and Ernie Hum- phrey, Barbara Humphrey and Bernice Garnder attended a Christmas dinner and program at the Whitby Christian Assem- bly recently. Cecil and Jean Vicars from St. John, N.B. visited with Doug and Florence Ashton on Friday night. Cecil and Jean are spend- ing Christmas with their son and family near Mount Forest.
