Van Camp Contracting, Sedgrave and Perfect Heating won their respective baseball divisions. The lawn bowling duo of Joyce Storry, Joyce Stephenson and Anna Beaton won the Uxbridge tournament. Cornish won the DEAA pennant at the Durham Cross Country Championships. IGA owner Jim Grieve was honored by the local ringette association for his long-standing sponsorship of teams in ort Perry.
