"A Family Tradition for 128 Years" Crime Stoppers Shots fired from cars Crime Stoppers and the Dur- ham Regional Police are asking for the public's help in solving a number of drive-by shootings which have occurred in Oshawa between May and August 1994. On May 5 at 11:15 p.m. the BBQ Express at 804 Simcoe St. South was victimized by sus- pects firing a pellet gun at the front windows damaging two 8' X 4° window panes. Suspects damaged this same business on Aug. 11 and Aug. 15. Fortunate- ly, no one was injured. Brush Strokes at 31 Celina St. was hit by the shooters be- tween Aug. 13 and 15 causing the front west window damage, plus a lamp inside the store was struck. First Car Rentals at 111 Sim- coe St. North had a 10' x 6' win- dow damaged during the eve- ning of Aug. 14 -15. If you have any information on who is responsible for these pellet drive-by shootings, call Crime Stoppers.
