Legion Branch 419 Report Members busy at year's end By Geoff Taylor The last few months have been very busy ones at Branch 419. The 1994-95 Poppy Fund Campaign was an overwhelm- ing success. Thanks must go to the Poppy Fund Chairman Hei- di Cushing, for her planning, or- ganization and hard work. These type of campaigns do not just happen, they have to be made to work. We of the Royal Canadian Le- gion wish to thank all the busi- nesses in the area for their sup- port and donations, also our fellow citizens whom contribut- ed via the contribution boxes. The overall achievement could not have surpassed our goal without the help of those comrades, that put in countless hours of work during this cam- paign. It would be totally impos- sible to mention all of you by name, but two comrades stand out: Vic Sparrow, 40 hrs. of on the street canvassing, 2nd Bob Douglas for all his work with our posters and printing. The Branch held two services during Remembrance Week, one here in Port Perry and one Robert J. Gow Quality Advice NESBITT BURNS UNCERTAIN ABOUT YOUR INVESTMENT OPTIONS?
