Born and raised in Scugog Township, Mrs. Lambert moved to Toronto In the 1930's where she held a number of jobs, including working as a sewing machine operator at Tip Top Tallors, and acting as a government inspector at the Ajax munitions plant during the Second World War. She moved back to Port Perry three years ago and now lives In her Crandall St. home. She survives sisters Ethel (Mrs. Grant) Willard and Georgina McLaughlin. Last Thursday at Port Perry Arena Novice House League Tournament took place. Several exciting games were played by Haugen's hockey team. After losing their first game they went on to win the next two and win the B side of this tourna- ment. Members of this team are Alex Harold, Scott Stone and Russell Lee.
