Of course one problem could slow them down. They need money. Richard Fraser, treasurer for Seaway Valley Farmers, says plant construction could start this June, But they need the help of crop farmers across Ontario. Seaway needs about $10 million in total investments to get plant construction underway. April 5 they received a big boost from the provincial fy ement, A jobsOntario Community Action grant of help from jobsOntario. "The result of the funding support will be increased eco- nomic activity and over 30 new full-time jobs for eastern Onis in addition to work during construction," he sai Mr. Fraser is optimistic about reaching Seaway reach- ing their financial goal. In just six weeks they've received $1.6 million in investment.
