Abylaw will be passed at council next week. "Itis a summer develop- mental pilot project with the mandate to see if user fees are feasible," said Re- gional Councillor Marilyn Pearce, who also chairs the Parks and Recreation Committee. Council is prepared for some backlash, but feels the public will accept the fee once they understand all money collected will go back into improvements to the launching facility.
