Held in the General Mo- tors parking lot on the north west corner of Bond Street East and Ritson Road in Oshawa, this colossal sale is set to go on Sat- urday, June 10 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, June 11, same time and place. Help benefit the United Way by snap- ping up some bargains, or get into the action yourself. Proceeds from this Giant Flea Market ben- efit the United Way of Oshawa/Whitby/ Clarington, which helps support more than 200 programs from 40 agencies, from which over 80,000 peo- ple residents receive di- rect benefits. There will be a parade, noon hour barbecue, games, all at the school which will also house a display of memorabilia. This will be followed by a pot luck supper in Epsom Church. There will be a talent show and entertain- ment by The Outback Cloggers. On Sunday, June 25 there will be a church ser- vice at 2 p.m. in Utica Church with Rev. Edith Ann Shantz returning for a guest appearance. Mark your calendar and plan to attend some or all of these activities. That's June 23, 24 and 25.
