A delightful place to have a meal! After a nasty storm, Alan and Eleanor Cawker of Oshawa came out and cleaned all the de- bris off the lawns, branches and so forth all about the place - what a great relief to me. It was so kind of them as they are very busy folks! After a lunch and a visit they left for home. I do ap- preciate their help so very much. Fellowship When a feller hasn't got a cent, And is feelin' kind of blue, And the clouds hang thick and dark, And won't let the sun- shine through, It's a great thing my brethren, For a feller just to lay, His hand upon your shoul- der, In a friendly sort of way. It makes a man feel queerish, It makes the teardrops start. And you kind of feel a flutter, In the region of your heart. You can't look up and meet his eye, You don't know what to say, When a hand is on your shoul- der, In a friendly sort of way. Oh! this world's a curious place, With its honey and its gall, Its cares and bitter crosses, But a good world after all. And a good God must have made it, That is what they say, When a hand is on your shoulder, In a friendly sort of way! by Thomas Southerne Seagrave students enjoyed graduation Wasn't that a storm to re- member!? Many families were busy cleaning up their yards of branches etc. and many lost beautiful old trees to the storm not to mention countless miss- ing BBQ covers, pool floats, pat- 10 umbrellas, furniture, etc., etc. To the best of my knowledge no one was hurt in our community.
