By renewing before Nov. 15, card holders will avoid delays and help ensure that they receive a new card before the winter fishing season, which begins Jan. 1, 1996. Applicants who apply after Nov. 15 may not re- celve their new cards for up to six weeks after an ap- plication has been made. Card holders whose cards will expire in 1995 should ensure that MNR has their current address. To report a change of address, card holders should call MNR toll free at 1-800-387-7011. This year, card holders also have the option of re- newing the card by telephone through an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Instructions are in- cluded with the renewal application. . The Outdoors Card was introduced in 1993 and 1s valid for three calendar years. The card is a unique identification issued to resident anglers and hunters in Ontario who must have one before they can pur- chase a fishingor huntinglicence.
