Peter Hvidsten Port Perry Star Hockey legend Red Kelly and CTV sportscaster Lance Brown led a field of 72 golfers around Thund- erbird Golf Club last week for the Tartan Celebrity Golf Classic. The tournament, organ- ized to raise funds for Scugog Memorial Library was a complete success. The $5,100 profit will be used to purchase educa- tional computer software and reference books. In addition to a great day of golf, participants enjoy- ed a putting coutest and steak dinner. MC Lance Brown intro- duced the tournaments guest of honor, Red Kelly, who spoke passionately about the game of hockey and how it has changed.
