Oshawa Generals to play exhibition match in Scugog By Kelly Lown Port Perry Star The Oshawa Generals will be playing an exhibi- tion game at the Scugog Arena on September 10. Due to set backs in con- struction at the Oshawa Civic the club has had to find alternate arenas for exhibition games for its Ontario Hockey league exhibition match ups. The Generals will take on the Peterborough Petes in a 2 p.m. tilt at the local arena. Although the construc- tion at the Civic has forced the club to seek ice time in other communities, the club is using it as an op- portunity to introduce more towns to Oshawa Generals Hockey. Tickets for the match can be reserved by calling the Oshawa Civic Auditor- ium Box Office at (905) 728-5162. Tickets are $4.75 for adults and $3.75 for students and seniors. The Generals will also be holding exhibition matches in Port Hope and Gravenhurst during the month of September. In the final game against Barrie Canadian Tire, Mark Goreski and Barrie's John Chalmers each allowed only five hits but Barries' hits included a home run and a triple.
