Greenbank opening a new season by having a barbecue at Greenbank Hall on Sept. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This will be a time when guests will be introduced to the Lions' members and learn of their work in the com- munity. The Monthly Euchre Party will be held this Fri- day evening at 8 p.m. in Greenbank Hall. Every- one is welcome, whether you are a new player or a pro, come out and enjoy the fellowship. Murray and I enjoy a weekend visit with our daughter Debbie, Mark Roundell and from Nepean. The Greenbank Gam- blers have their closing fastball tournament start- ing this Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Games will possibly be held at Durham Fields in Oshawa. Rally Sunday where children receive awards for their participation in Sunday School the previ- ous year. Children move up to new classes and meet their teachers. This special day took place on Sunday and then was fol- lowed by the church picnic with a large number of children enjoying the games which followed lunch. Don't forget servic- es next Sunday at 11 a.m. children .and everyone is welcome.
