Typically, problems resulting from substance abuse develop in the following areas of life: health; fi- nance; social; leisure; legal; job/school; and relation- Some examples of these include chronic bronchitis or liver damage; dealing drugs or stealing; conflict with parents; failing or dropping out of school; a con- stant pre-occupation to get and use a substance, or neglecting other responsibilities, interests, goals, and beliefs, in the pursuit of using a substance. paign, aimed at snowmo- bilers and alcohol consumption. treatment procedure is to help the client develop a treatment plan which reflects their degree of Proud to be a sponsof of this publication addictions, Mr. Chiasson said.
