Aces vs Roosters On Sunday The Taylor Fuels Aces faced the Pizza Delight Roosters and were shown mer- ciless defeat. Jim Fowler of the Roosters was assisted by Bruce Gracie and John Harman to start the game, followed closely by another goal by Jim Fowler, this time assisted by John Har- man and Carl Durham. The next goal came from the Aces with Richie LeFort scoring and Ken Little and Wayne Tay- lor holding the assists. Bruce Gracie scored another for the Roosters with Tony Oxley and Jeff Johnstone. Next Jim Fowl- er scored yet another with assis- tance from John Harman and Terry Flieler. Brian Stevenson was assisted by John Harman and Carl Durham to put in the five Rooster goal. Minutes after Carl Durham was assisted by John Harman to score another goal. In the top of the third period Brad Hurst unassisted scored another for the Roosters fol- lowed by John Harman with Carl Durham assisting. Roosters vs Sharks Game two hosted the Pizza Delight Roosters and the Van & Truck World Sharks in another massacre by the Roosters. Senators vs Wolves Game three hosted the Ball- Callery Senators and the Pine- ridge Wolves which was opened by Clarence Stephenson of the Wolves who was assisted by Darcy Milligan and Jim Beatty. The next goal went solely to Brett' Laycoe who has taken Fred Randell's position on the Senators. Followed by Mark De- costa who was assisted by Brian Samis and Brett Laycoe, two goals by Rob Evans, one with as- sistance from Ken Jeffrey and Paul Goreski and the other un- assisted. Then Jim Duncan of the Wolves scored with assists from Ken Smart Sr. and Todd Wilbur. Paul Goreski took the next goal for the Senators with Fred Moffatt and Roger Moase. YMCA offers basketball The local YMCA is offering 10 weeks of basketball for both women and children on Monday evenings across the township. A women's basketball fun night is held on Monday evenings at Cartwright Central Public School. The cost 1s $20 for 10 weeks. The series of games got un- derway last week, but those interested in doing so can still join at a reduced rate. Junior and Youth basketball is also being offered on Monday evenings from 7-8 p.m. at S. A. Cawker Public School. To register for either call the YMCA office at 985- 2824 or drop in at their new office at the Scugog Com- munity Centre on Reach Street. The team played Ux- bridge, on Oct. 9. The boys were pumped and ready to play the game they knew best. The first goal of the game was netted by Matt McGarry; the helper went to Billy Carr. Our defence, Tyler Houthuys, Joel Thompson, Mike Wads- worth, and Scott Duncan played vigilantly to pro- tect our goalies, D'Arcy Stephens and Mike Koury. The second goal of the first period went to Matt Cracknell, assisted by Adam Moynes. With less than four min- utes into the second period Mike Wadsworth scored unassisted.
