New Scugog hall open next week Opening is next step in township's master plan By Kelly Lown Port Perry Star Scugog's new communi- ty hall will be officially opened later this month. Jerry Taylor will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening which will also feature guest speak- ers Mayor Howard Hall, MP Alex Shepherd and MPP John O'Toole. The fundraising committee is also expected to address the audience. The new community hall opened in August and hasbeen booked on a regu- lar basis since. The 99' by 58" hall is divisible into one large and one smaller area. It is an air- conditioned facility, com- plete with a large kitchen area, sound system, bar facilities and a coat check room. There are 100 tables and 750 chairs included in the rental fees.
