"The Red Cross offers a variety of programs and services that help people maintain a life in their own home. "Homemakers and Home Support workers bring a human touch to the lives of many people and in doing so they also give independence, pride, and dignity." Red Cross offers a varie- ty of such programs in- cluding Homemaking, Seniors' Services, Meals On Wheels, Transporta- tion, Home Healthcare Equipment Services (HHES), to name but a few.
