12- PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, November 7, 1995 "Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" SPORTS &° RECREATION Chargers win their first game of the season By Andy Seeley Roosters vs. Sharks In hockey this weekend the Pizza Delight Roosters played the Van and Truck World Sharks in a close game. Scoring the first goal was Carl Durward of the Sharks, assisted by Phil Cochrane and Dave Dickson, followed by Dave Brownson, also of the Sharks, who was assisted by Carl Durward and Dave Dickson. Next goal by the Sharks was from Carl Durward again, this time assisted by Phil Co- chrane and Doug Bache. Then Jim Fowler of the Roosters scored their first with assistance from Dave Bourgeois and Tony Ox- ley. Following was John Harman with assists from Rick Sakanshi and Brad Hurst for another Roost- ers goal. Terry Flieler slipped in the next assist- ed by Jim Fowler and Dave Bourgeois tying the game in the second period. Then John Harman scored another for the Roosters with Carl Durham and Brad Hurst, followed by Jay Adam of the Sharks who scored the final goal of the game with Rick Olaisen and Dave Dick- son.
