Police said that an offi- cer was following a stolen truck on Regional Rd. 2 into Port Perry just after 9 p.m. last Thursday (Nov. 2), and the pursuit began when the truck turned west on Hwy. 7A. The chase continued down the road to Hwy. 12 in Manchester, where the diver of the truck turned a couple of U-turns in an attempt to evade the unmarked cruiser. The truck then sped off westbound on Regional Rd. 21.
