Scoring the first goal was Ken Davison of the Wolves who was assisted by Clarence Stephenson and Darcy Milligan. Then Derek Fitzgerald of the Clippers slipped in with an assisted goal from Carl Fitzgerald and Peter Lane. Then Peter Lane scored, assisted by Eddie Olsen. In the second period the Wolves' Jim Duncan scored, tying the game with assists from Larry Pilkey and Todd Wilbur. Then they pulled ahead with another Wolves' goal by Reg Templeman who was assisted by Todd Wilbur and Larry Pilkey. Robert VanCamp took the next two goals for the Wolves, the first assisted by Larry Pilkey and the second assisted by Ken Davison and Clarence 'Stephenson.
