It was recovered in the View Lake area the following day. 0 Sometime overnight, a 1988 GMC pick-up was stolen from Trewin Farm Equipment in Blackstock, police said. The timeframe being examined by police is sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 6, and later the following day. a A 1991 Chev pick-up 'was stolen from an Old Simcoe Rd. home in Prince Albert sometime over- night Nov. 6 to 7. The own- er of the vehicle reported locking the truck and tak- ing keys with him before parking it around 5 p.m., police said. It was gone by 8 a.m. the next day. 0 Last Wednesday (Nov. 8) between midnight and 7 a.m. a 1989 Chev pick-up was stolen from Union Ave., police said. It was re- covered on the 3rd Line east of Oshawa Rd. There was damage to the run- ning board and the seats had been slashed, police said. Curiously, all of the trucks involved in Mon- day's report were blue. Homes are hit Thieves ransacked a Scugog Island home be- fore making off with sever- al items, police said. Thieves ransacked the home and made off with jewelry, a CD player, VCR, and some rolled coins. a Last Thursday (Nov. 9) someone broke into the garage at a home on Ridgeview Dr. and stole a snowblower worth $1,100, and a 10-horse boat motor worth $1,000. 0 And witnesses report- ed seeing pick-up trucks going into the driveway of a home east of Cadmus that was robbed last Tues- day (Nov. 7). Police said the Edgerton Rd. home was entered by way of a rear door, and thieves made off with a tel- evision, VCR, and Ninten- do equipment worth more than $1,000. Police are pursuing in- formation given them by neighbors.
