Guides leader Kate MacDonald said she was accompanying one of her girls on her rounds, but was unable to leave the car and go to doors of homes with her as she was caring for her young son. "When we got back to the church and counted out the girl's money, we found out she was $15 short," said Mrs. MacDon- ald. "We didn't know what to think," she added. "She's only nine, and there's a good chance she just dropped it." The girl was also allow- ing folks to make chan for purchases of the §3 cookies, so it's possible some mix-up occurred.
