athe al tee 0) - THE PORT PERRY STAR Chuckies Chips serves hearty menu at two local chip trucks Barry Townsend and wife Lorrie describe their enterprise as "a full-time plusjob". Their food outlet Chuck- 1e's Chips, located in Port Perry, has been growing in leaps and bounds over the past year. In addition to the two trucks that the company maintains year round, a third truck is add- ed over the summer months, and travels throughout Ontario to fairs and exhibitions. Owners Barry Town- send Jr. and his wife Lor- rie have put a lot of their lives into the business, maintaining happy cus- tomers at home and rang- ing across the countryside to further enhance their [8 reputation. There are two local out- lets: on Simcoe St. near Flielers Petro Canada, and at the Port Perry Flea Market. Asif that weren't enough, they're often on the road during the sum- mer months, travelling to to fairs and special events. Running three trucks has become a full time plus job," said Barry Townsend Jr. Chuckie's Chips offers a delicious menu including fresh homemade french fries, mouthwatering hamburgers and a newer favorite, poutine. Zesty hot dogs and crisp onion rings, as well as tender peameal on a bun, round out the tantalizing menu. "We would like to thank all of our wonderful cus- tomers and hope that they will keep enjoying our well-known chip truck and service for many years to come," said Mr. Town- send. Care and comfort at Low & Low For more than 100 years and four generations, Low and Low has been the name people have come to trust for caring and dis- creet funeral services. A funeral should be the celebration of a person's life. The traditional funeral 18 still very important to most people, giving their friends an opportunity to show their support and sympathy for the family It serves a real psycho- logical need we all have to get through the grieving process. We need our friends at a time like this, and the funeral service gives everyone the oppor- tunity to express their feelings and sympathy and remember all the good times. At the Low & Low Fu- neral Home, the facilities were designed and con- structed by architects as a funeral home, so that peo- ple are never crowded dur- ing visits or the actual ser- vice. Many clients and visi- tors have commented on the bright, modern atmos- phere of the funeral home, with lots of parking right at the door and the large, newly decorated visiting rooms and chapel. Another attractive fea- ture, especially during the winter months, is the com- plimentary reception rooms; here you can meet your friends over refresh- ments after the funeral service without having to leave the building. Many people like to plan for their funeral ahead of time so they receive the kind of service they want, and also to relieve their family members of the burden of making the ar- rangements; staff at Low and Low have many years of experience and can help plan and pre-arrange these services. Low and Low Funeral Home is located at 1763 Reach Street in Port Perry.
