"A Family Tradition for 128 Years" PF] 1 PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, November 28, 1995 - 3 ~ Santa comes fo Scugog! Board appoints interim director Durham Board of Education Chair Patricia Bow- man announced Monday that Clarence Prins, former Superintendent of Education/Employee Relations with the board, has been appointed interim Director of Education beginning Jan. 1, 1996. Mr. Prins will fill the position vacated by Pauline Laing when she takes up her duties with the Ministry of Education until the board completes its process for selecting a new director. He is not new to the position of interim director; prior to his retirement in June 1994, he replaced Pauline Laing during her leave of absence to research education in several other coun- tries of the world. In anticipation of many potential changes in educa- tion from the provincial and local levels, the beard felt that it required all the existing strength of its Su- perintendents of Education in their present roles in order to bridge the period from Jan. 1 until a new di- rector could be appointed. - CALL FOR YOUR FREE BROCHURE 985-8479. of visit our showroom at... 15400 Old Simcoe Road : ' J SS, BY FAY PLASTICS INC.
