The donation was given to the college for President Gary Polonsky to put towards the area most needed, the bursaries and scholarship category seemed most practical. "The generosity of Rogers Cable is greatly appre- ciated," said Betty-Anne Blyth, Financial Aid Officer at Durham College. "Some students need the extra fi- nancial help to complete their education, and now we can reach more of those students." Donating money to Durham College is nothing new for Rogers Cable System. Over the past five years, Rogers has sponsored $7,500 to the Macintosh labs in the school.
