Scugog 'Y' offers seniors programs The YMCA of Durham Region is pleased to be of- fering a new line of pro- grams for seniors at the Scugog Community Hall and Arena this winter. There is sure to be some- thing for everyone. For the creative, the CA offers Senior Stitch and Seniors with Flair (a water color painting program). For those looking for athletic ventures, the YMCA has Senior Skate and Senior Lifestyle Aerobics. All of these programs provide a positive social environment while exer- cising the body, challeng- ing the mind and lifting the spirit. The other way to be- come a part of the Y family is to become a "YMCA Vol- unteer."" Volunteers have been the backbone on the YMCA since the begin- ning. YMCA volunteers get personal satisfaction from helping out with skills, services and time that they can give. The benefit our participants receive from our volun- teers' generosity is limit- less. If you would like further information on YMCA pro- grams or on being a YMCA volunteer please call the YMCA at 985-2824. For the past 150 years, the YMCA has been offer- ing quality programs for the "young at heart." The YMCA has a proud history of being at the heart of the community with respon- sive programming. The YMCA, as an association, is committed to the devel- opment of healthy individ- uals at the heart of a healthy community. Forder-Parks Insurance Brokers Inc.
