She acknowledged that the rim on the bus was rusty, but said that is not uncommon with the salt on the roads. A Simcoe Transit bus traveling along the Island Road Friday morning blew a tire after it slowed for the stop sign at the Highway 7A intersection, according to Mike Free- man, owner of the local bus company.
