Kub Kar Rally has ended. All the young designers and car builders have re- turned home with great memories and new hopes for next year. During the past week packs from Cartwright, Seagrave, Scugog Island, Sunder- land, Uxbridge, Prince Al- bert and Port Perry have raced their cars and had them judged in design. Saturday evening Scouts, leaders and par- ents put on hard hats, roared their engines and raced their 18 wheelers. The fastest 18 wheeler in Pine Ridge Dist. be- - longs to Bob Sinclair of 1st Port Perry, Second - Don Farquharson - 1st Port Perry, Third - Joseph Far- quharson - 1st Port Perry. Design winners were: First - Jeff Morden - 1st Port Perry; Second - Java Bolan - Cartwright tied Don Farquharson - 1st Port Perry and Third - Ray Rankin - 1st Port Perry. On Sunday pack win- ners returned for the dis- trict finals. Speed win- ners: First - Sandy Farquharson - 1st Port Perry; Second - Cameron Bird - 1st Scugog; Third - SUNDIERFELDT-WILLIAN Mrs. Don Summerteldt, Port Perry is pleased to announce the forthcoming marnage of her daughter Jennifer Jane to Jason Leon, son of Mr. & Mrs Leon Wilhams of Seagrave Wedding to take place at Andrew Tamilson - lst Scugog. The Kub Kar track will come down and be stored away for another year and soon the planning will start for next year.
