Second Ann Meester was absent. Second schedule winners were the rink sponsored by Pineridge Sports. Congratulated by league president Dorene Ashbridge (left) are skip Jan Towns and second Pat Jewell. Absent is vice Ann Meester. Third schedule winners were the rink sponsored by Cine-Max and Parties Extreme. Sponsors Elgin and Annemarie Knopp present a trophy to skip Jan Towns, vice Judy Labanovich, lead Marilyn Hanna, and second Eleanor Edmiston. Skills development clinics rescheduled for this Sat. Due to the inclement weather of last Saturday we had to cancel the youth boys and girls skills devel- opment clinics but they will be re-scheduled to co- incide with the 7-8 and 9- 10 mites this upcoming Saturday, April 27 at the lakefront diamonds start- ing at 10 a.m. All coaches are asked to show up at 9:30 so we may get items in order for all the age groups. On May 5 we will be travelling to Seagrave to do the clinic at 10 a.m. there and will then get to Greenbank for 1 p.m. later that same day. Those who are unable to make any of the previous clinics are welcome to participate in either of these two locales. Junior Development Umpires As well this upcoming Saturday will see the Jun- ior Development Umpire's clinic in Blackstock with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. followed by the clinic at 9 a.m. The regis- tered participants need to make sure they have their registration money as well as mask and counter and should dress comfortably. Rep Team Openings Rep teams have taken to the lakefront diamonds this past week and will continue to do so while they get ready for their season starts. At this time there were not enough players registered at the mite level so that team has been dissolved and those players moved up to the squirt squad. There are still spots available for the squirt, pee wee, and ban- tam level for those who have registered and want to give it a try. During the week of April 29 these teams will all assume their regularly scheduled times for practices. House League Starting Dates The local house leagues will all start the week of May 13 with the 7-8 mites going on the Monday night at S. A. Cawker Public School.
