The Area Convention is October 18, 19 at the Ho- ward Johnson Hotel in Markham. Pennies for Friendship were turned in by each branch. The Area requested pictures of eve- ry member by Feb. 19. June is W.I. Promotion Month so a display is planed to be in Bowman- ville Mall. Also a float is planned for Blackstock Fair Parade. The Milton Agricultural Museum is offering a free admission day on July 1. The museum is open four days, Thursday to Sunday each week. Special days featuring antique tractors - especially the Waterloo Tractor are July 19, 20 and 21. Providence Shaw W.IL conducted a line dance for entertainment. The Ontario Convention is at Ridgetown on July 12, 13 and 14, 1996. Our afternoon speaker was Ann Foster who spoke on Safe and Healthy Commu- nities.
