'Life Quilt' will make stop in Port Perry during tour By Kelly Lown Port Perry Star The Life Quilt for Breast Cancer is travel- ling the country and will bein Port Perry this week- end. The quilt, originated in Vancouver, is a means to seek public awareness of the needs of women, their families, freinds and care- givers who are living with breast cancer. There will be three quilts created, each with a large centre panel bor- dered by two rows of smaller squares. The large panels suggest the universal experiences of women coping with the in- itial diagnosis, subse- quent treatment and life changes associated with breast cancer. Canadians are being asked to contribute to the quilt and will be at the Patchers Lane Quilt Show "at Scugog Arena this weekend.
