Participants will take part in workshops at the Pentecostal Church from July 16-18 which will ad- dress the fundamentals of choral conducting, tone, communication and ges- tures. This is the third year this summer course has been offered. The objec- tive of the symposium is to help choral conductors de- velop personal and musi- cal skills to assist in their choirs. The symposium ca- ters to high school choirs and emphasizes hands-on learning. A final concert will be held at Town Hall 1873 on Thursday (July 18) at 7:30 p.m. The concert will fea- ture the symposium choir - and local talent Scugog Brass and Time Square, as well as the six-man All The Kings "Men.
