We saw great goaltending from both goalies. The Wolves got on the board first on a goal by Willy Edwards assisted by Steve Conners. Then with one minute to go in the game the Chargers scored on a goal by Brian Stevenson. Assists went to Jeff Card and Ritchie LeFort. Game Two Harrison Fuels 2 vs Cedar Creek Contractors 6 In game two the Clippers of Wayne Hancock and Keijo Kin- nunen. Clippers went on a storm scoring four in a row. Scoring these goals for the Clip- pers were Jason Warner assist- ed by Mike Geer, Jay Menzies assisted by Mike McQuade and Jason Warner, Jason Warner assisted by Derrek Fitzgerald and John Harman, Mike McQuade assisted by Mike Geer and Jason Warner. Then the Flames, Keijo Kin- nunen and Rick Olaison assist- ed a goal by Karl Durham to make the score 4-2: The Clip- pers added two more goals by Mike Geer assisted by John Harman, and John Bacon as- sisted by John Harman and Ja- SPORTS Another week of action with big games awarded to Kick Huggins, Rick Campbell and Doug Bronson. Campbell and Bronson had three points each. Aces got on the board first on a goal by Rick Campbell, assist- ed by Doug Bronson and Mike Clarke. Then Doug Bronson made it 2-0. Assists went to Campbell and Bruce Smith. Sharks got one back half way through the second period on a goal by Tom Barnes, assist went to Jarett Harman. Aces took the lead by two again on a goal by Doug Bron- son, assisted by Rick Campbell and Bruce Smith. Mike Adams got one back in the last minute of the third period but that was Ball/Callery & Assoc. 9vs J&D Carpentry3 The Senators'in this jumped out to a 3-0 lead and sis then never looked back as they wentontowin9-3. 3 Scoring for the Senators were C 'Bob Beveridge with one goal and three assists, Brian Norton and Ken Jeffrey each had two goals and one assist. The eventual winner came off the broom of Jim Gregg at the start of the second frame The second game of the day went to overtime be- fore the Blackstock Brew- ers prevailed with a 3-2 win over the Scorpions. There was no scoring in the opening period before the Brewers pulled ahead by a pair early in the sec- ond with Keith Dalton notching both from James Hudgins and Neil Woo- drow The Scorpions fought back to tie it with a pair of markers from the broom of Dan Van Loon with help from Scott Suggitt and Ross Stainton thereby forcing the overtime peri- od. Blackstock got the win- ner from Tim Cochrane with Tom Wotten and Dave Dalton drawing the assists. The Homelife Swam- pers stayed in first place in the standings with a convincing 4-1 over the Brooklin Bruins. Dale Lown got his first two of his hat trick in the first pe- riod giving the Swampers the lead they would not re- linquish.
