A benefit musical program for Trevor Szewerda, organized by Alex and Margaret Ingram, will be held this Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Seagrave United Church. It will feature Gary Tummons Big Band, Swing Tyme Melodies and a variety of other talent. There will be a bake sale table for which donations from the community would be appreciated. A free will offering will be collected. Come out to support this worthy cause and enjoy an evening of music. The choir sang "O Day of Peace," from the new hymn book, Voices United, at the Remembrance Day Church Service on Sunday. Margaret Ingram gave the Minute for Mission, explain- ing where some of our M & S. Fund is spent. It supports many pro- jects in our own Bay of Quinte Conference. Some of which are camping centres, Theological students at Queen's University, Kingston, Rural Life projects, Hospital Chaplains and some new churches. Rev. David Shepherd's sermon was on Remembrance. Next Sunday is Sacrament of the Lord's Supper and Sunday School classes will be at 10 a.m. All children in the community are welcome. The turkey dinner committee wishes to thank all those who donated food and helped in anyway to make the annual church turkey dinner, which was held last week, a decided success. This is a real community effort which is appreciated very much by our church members.
